Theatre Royal Plymouth introduced ‘Barn Dances’, a new flagship summer event series in rural South West England. This family-friendly, toe-tapping experience featured the Freedom Fields Ceilidh Band, promising an unforgettable evening of live music, dancing, and local food and drink like pasties, beer, and cider. My responsibility as the designer was to develop the primary lead graphic and cohesive branding to market this new signature event across all platforms.

I created a simple yet visually striking brand identity for ‘Barn Dances’. This versatile design was adapted seamlessly for various digital advertisements, print materials, and large-format banners. Additionally, I produced a compelling teaser video specifically for pre-event social media promotions to build early excitement and ticket sales. The marketing campaign was highly successful, establishing the ‘Barn Dances’ as a popular fixture in the summer calendar. The event achieved strong attendance figures, resulting in several sold out evenings throughout the tour.
